1. Booking Requests
All journeys must be pre-booked.
A booking request does not constitute a contract.
A legally binding contract for private hire services is formed between the passenger and Lumaritho Group Ltd trading as LGL Ride (“LGL Ride”) only when LGL Ride expressly confirms acceptance of the booking in writing (including email, WhatsApp or other recorded communication).
No passenger may travel without prior booking confirmation.
LGL Ride acts as the licensed Private Hire Operator responsible for accepting bookings and dispatching licensed private hire drivers in accordance with Transport for London regulations.
Drivers allocated to fulfil bookings do so on behalf of LGL Ride and do not enter into a separate contractual relationship with the passenger.
2. Fares
Fares are confirmed prior to journey acceptance.
Additional charges may apply for:
• Waiting time
• Extra stops
• Airport parking
• Road tolls
• Cleaning fees (if required)
Where additional charges apply, passengers will be informed where reasonably possible at the time of booking or during the journey where circumstances require.
3. Cancellations
Cancellation terms will be communicated at the time of booking confirmation.
LGL Ride reserves the right to charge reasonable cancellation fees where applicable, including where a driver has already been dispatched or where insufficient notice is provided.
Cancellation charges will reflect reasonable operational costs incurred by the Operator.
4. Passenger Responsibility
Passengers must ensure:
• Correct pickup details are provided
• Timely arrival at pickup location
• Lawful and respectful conduct during the journey
LGL Ride reserves the right to refuse or terminate service where passenger conduct presents a safety risk or breaches applicable laws or regulations.
5. Liability
LGL Ride shall not be liable for delays caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to:
• Traffic conditions
• Road closures
• Weather conditions
• Accidents or vehicle breakdown
• Events or restrictions imposed by authorities
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.
6. Compliance
LGL Ride operates in accordance with the Private Hire Vehicles (London) Act 1998 and all applicable London private hire legislation.
All bookings are accepted and dispatched by a licensed Private Hire Operator.
Licensed drivers allocated to bookings carry out journeys on behalf of the Operator and remain subject to TfL licensing requirements.
